Varun Dhawan is on a promotional spree for his upcoming film Citadel: Honey Bunny. The actor is all set to make his OTT debut with the web series, starting on November 7. Having said that, the actor and the makers, Raj and DK, will appear as special guests in the Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 Diwali episode. The promos on the channel’s social media handle show Varun Dhawan and Amitabh Bachchan exchanging a light-hearted conversation about their personal lives and the joys of embracing fatherhood.
In the upcoming episode, Amitabh Bachchan asked Varun about his newborn daughter. He enquired, “This Diwali is especially meaningful for you because goddess Lakshmi herself has come to your home. Have you thought of a name for her?”
Responding to this, Varun smiled and said, “Yes, we have, though we haven’t shared it yet. I’m still learning to connect with her—it’s just as you said when a baby comes home, everything changes.”
Later, the Citadel actor asked Big B about his emotions when he became a father and if he managed to get enough sleep. Expressing his emotions, the star said ‘wonderful’. “We managed to sleep, but there was always a bit of worry: is everything okay? Back then, a new gadget had come out. You’d place it near the bed, and if the baby made even the slightest noise, it would alert us. It came in handy!” added KBC 16 host.
During their interaction, Varun Dhawan also asked the superstar to share some parenting tips with him as the latter embraced parenthood on June 3. With a huge smile, Big B replied, “Here’s one golden rule—keep your wife happy. If she’s content, everything else will fall into place, and with her happiness, your daughter will be happy too. Remember: ‘Wife is supreme.’”
On the Bhediya actor’s request, Big B also shared a message for his wife, Natasha. Amitabh Bachchan said that he hopes Varun will take good care of her. He also asked Natasha to not give him a hard time.

Coming to the Varun and Samantha-starrer Citadel: Honey Bunny, the series is a spinoff to the American Series Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Helmed by Raj and DK, the film also features Kay Kay Menon, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Simran Bagga, Saqib Saleem and Kashvi Majmundar.
Other than Citadel: Honey Bunny, Varun Dhawan has several electrifying projects on his plate. The actor will next star in Baby John with Salman Khan and Keerthy Suresh, directed by Kaleesh. The teaser of the film, releasing in December this year, will be out in theatres with Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. He will also reprise his role in the sequel Bhediya 2, directed by Amar Kaushik. Other than this, he has the sequels No Entry 2 and Border 2 in the pipeline.
