Big B will turn a year older on October 11 and Aamir Khan and his son, Junaid Khan, will appear as guests in the birthday special episode to surprise him.
Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy hosting the 16th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). Like every year, he is winning hearts with his charismatic presence and interesting interactions with the contestants. Several celebrities and actors take on the hot seat of the reality TV show, offering viewers a peek into their personal as well as professional lives. Now, as Big B will turn a year older on October 11, Aamir Khan and his son, Junaid Khan, will appear as guests in the birthday special episode to surprise him on his special day.
Not long ago, one of the promos showed Aamir and Junaid would surprise Amitabh on KBC sets on his birthday. In the video, Mr Perfectionist expressed his excitement about joining Big B on the KBC 16 stage. Now, the channel released another episode promo, where Aamir and his son Junaid Khan joined Big B on the hot seat. The video featured a light-hearted conversation between the two where Aamir Khan proved to Amitabh Bachchan that he is his biggest fan.
In the latest promo of KBC, the Dangal actor asked Amitabh Bachchan, “I have one question for you. Aapko apni shaadi ki date yaad hai. (Do you remember your wedding date?)”. The actor responds, “June 3, 1973,” to which Aamir asks for evidence, saying, “Koi sabut toh dijiye.”
This left Big B speechless for a moment with Aamir continuing, “Mere pas ek sabut hai (I have one). Your wedding card. And meine aapko apka number one fan hone ka sabut dia hai (With this, I have proved that I am your biggest fan).”
Hearing this, Amitabh Bachchan, along with the audience present there, laughed their hearts out. Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday special episode will air on Sony TV on October 11 at 9 PM.
On the professional front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the 2022 release Laal Singh Chaddha, an Indian adaptation of Tom Hank-starrer, Forrest Gump. But the actor has returned to cinema this year and produced his ex-wife, Kiran Rao’s directorial, Laapataa Ladies. He is also set to grace the screens with Sitaare Zameen Par.
Amitabh Bachchan, on the other hand, starred in Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi drama Kalki 2898 AD opposite Prabhas, Kamal Haasan and Deepika Padukone. The veteran actor will next mark his debut in Tamil cinema with Vettaiyan alongside Rajinikanth. He also has Section 84 and Be Happy in the pipeline.
