• Keeping Betel Nuts in the Safe:

After performing the auspicious rituals on this day, place betel nuts (Supari) wrapped in a red cloth in your safe. This practice is believed to be beneficial for addressing financial difficulties and welcoming Goddess Lakshmi to your home. Pandit Kalki Ram mentioned this practice also helps to complete any pending work without obstacles. The betel nuts that you keep in your safe this year should be replaced with new ones, next year.

• Worshipping the Dakshinavarti Shankh:

On the day of Nag Panchami, worship the Dakshinavarti Shankh (a special type of conch). After the worship, keep the conch in your safe or the place where you keep your money and valuable items. It is believed that this ritual increases happiness and prosperity in your home.

• Keep a Silver Coin in Your Safe:

This is another ritual at should be performed on this day. Tie a silver coin with a red thread and place it in your safe or cupboard. Doing so is believed to resolve all financial difficulties.

• Perform Rituals using Yellow Cowries:

On Nag Panchami, first worship the yellow cowries. Following the worship, soak them in raw cow’s milk for a while, then clean them with Ganga water and place five cowries in your safe or in the place where you keep your valuables.
