The cast of FIR recently reunited after nine years and shared lovely moments from their intimate gathering, leaving fans nostalgic.
Kavita Kaushik made her acting debut with Ektaa Kapoor’s television show Kutumb. However, her stint on the comedy-drama series FIR made her a household name. FIR holds a special place in the hearts of fans. The entire cast, including Kavita Kaushik as Chandramukhi Chautala, Gopi Bhalla as Gopinath Gandotra, Aamir Ali as Chief Inspector Bajrang Pandey, Kiku Sharda as Constable Mulayam Singh Gulgule and others made the show memorable with their hilarious antics. Taking to her Instagram stories, Kavita Kaushik shared a photo featuring Aamir Ali, Sapna Sikarwar, Gopi Bhalla, and Sandeep Anand. They were seen posing for a selfie clicked by Sapna, who played the role of a victim’s relative in the show. They had a great time together, and sharing it, Kavita wrote, “Memories and more memories, Well.”
Kavita Kaushik also shared a series of pictures in a heartfelt post on Instagram, featuring the team members of the popular comedy show. She wrote in the post’s caption, “Hayye Daiyya kahan jaau mai F.I.R likhaaun. Gulguley, Shashank and some important members were missed.” Reacting to the post, Aamir commented, “Love you,” followed by a red heart emoji. Kiku Sharda, who was missing at the reunion, mentioned, “Missed this reunion, love you guys.”
Social media users who were thrilled by the reunion also reacted to the post. One user commented, “They made my childhood amazing,” while another mentioned, “Honestly missing this show and especially @ikavitakaushik mam as Chandramukhi Chautala.” One more comment read, “I was just remembering all of you and the launch of FIR. Sapna Sikarwar also posted a video on Instagram and hashtagged it with “friendship” and “kuch pal dosto ke naam” (some moments for friends.)
Meanwhile, Aamir Ali dropped a reel on his social media handle, saying, “Sometimes I feel I could go back in time, not to change anything, but to feel a few things twice. Itne saalo baad , itni saare yaadein.” He even posted the video on his IG stories writing, “Jab (when) we met.”
FIR premiered on SAB TV in 2006 and quickly became one of the most-watched shows. Directed by Shashank Bali, the show is still cherished by fans for its winning performances and entertaining story.
