Diljit Dosanjh urged the crowd at his Jaipur concert to be vigilant about the ongoing ticket fraud and asked them to “stay away from those involved in the scam”.
Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has apologised to his fans at his Jaipur concert on Sunday (November 3) — a part of his multi-city Dil-Luminati Tour in India. In the past, many have been victims of these ticket scams resulting in the loss of thousands of rupees. Diljit Dosanjh lit up the stage with an electrifying performance in the Pink City, sending the concert-goers into a frenzy. However, the Chandigarh Mein singer took a moment to address the ticket fraud issue on stage and expressed deep regret to his admirers for the unpleasant situation.
Diljit Dosanjh said, “If anyone has fallen victim to a ticketing scam, I apologise to that person. We have not done this. Authorities are currently investigating the matter,” as per a report by India Today. He urged the crowd to be vigilant and asked them to “stay away from those involved in the scam”. Diljit continued that neither he nor his team could anticipate that the tickets would sell out so fast. “Our tickets sold out so fast, even we did not get to know,” he said.
Ahead of Diljit Dosanjh’s Jaipur concert at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC) in Sitapura, the Jaipur Police issued a public warning on X (formerly Twitter) alerting the masses to be aware of fake tickets that have been circulating online. “SCAM ALERT!! Beware of fake tickets! Only valid tickets will be valid for entry into Diljit Dosanjh’s concert. Only tickets sold by Zomato Live and Scope Entertainment are valid, all others are invalid,” read the cautionary note.

Before his Jaipur performance, Diljit Dosanjh visited the City Palace and dropped a slew of pictures from the architecturally brilliant location.
Organised by Saregama and Ripple Effect Studios, the tickets for the Dil-Luminati Tour in Delhi also sold out within minutes of its release. Reacting to the overwhelming response, Diljit Dosanjh in an interview with news agency PTI said, “I am honestly overwhelmed. The love, the energy, it’s truly humbling! I am so grateful to everyone who managed to get a ticket. Trust me, this is going to be an experience like no other.”
The Dil-Luminati Tour in India is a 10-city extravaganza that kick-started on October 26 and will wrap up on December 29 in Guwahati.
