The woman said that she was recording a video of the actor wherein Allu Arjun was seen making a grand entry, surrounded by several security officials.
South superstar Allu Arjun touched down in Mumbai on Friday to attend a press meet for his film Pushpa 2. The event saw some precious moments between Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna – the lead star cast of the film, as they grooved to the songs from the upcoming film. But things did not turn out well for a journalist who was present at the event. The journalist shared her unpleasant experience on social media, capturing the Internet’s attention.
The senior journalist, Vibha Kaul Bhat, in her post shared on Instagram, claimed that her phone was snatched by the actor’s manager at the event which was organized at JW Marriott in Juhu. Vibha claimed that she was recording a video of the actor wherein Allu Arjun was seen making a grand entry, surrounded by several security officials as he sat with the media. Later, he also posed for the paparazzi stationed there. The purported video was posted on the photo-sharing application in collaboration with the official account of ABP’s Saas Bahu Aur Saazish.
Soon after the event kicked off, Allu Arjun’s manager allegedly asked the journalist to not shoot a video followed by snatching her phone. The journalist narrated the incident while speaking with ABP as she noted, “We were at a Pushpa 2 promotional event when suddenly a man approached and tried to snatch my phone from my hand. He then started yelling at me, saying, ‘Stop it, don’t shoot.'” “When I asked him who he was, he identified himself as Allu Arjun’s manager. I pointed out that this was a media and press event. Despite this, he snatched my phone,” she continued.
The video was also shared on Instagram with a note that read, “Actor Allu Arjun’s manager snatches our phone for shooting him as he arrives for a press meet…. Snatching and then throwing down the phone, the star needs to really look at people around him, it reflects badly on him.”
Pushpa 2 is scheduled to release on December 5. The most anticipated film will reportedly have a runtime of 3 hours 20 minutes in theatres. Besides Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna reprising their roles of Pushpa Raj and Srivalli from the first film, Fahadh Faasil will also be seen entertaining the masses with his captivating on-screen presence.
