Jharkhand Election Results 2024: The INDI Alliance, led by CM Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), secures an impressive victory by winning 56 seats as against a total of 81 Assembly seats.

Jharkhand Election Results 2024: The INDI Alliance, led by CM Hemant Soren’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Saturday secured an impressive victory in the Jharkhand Assembly Election Results 2024 by winning 56 seats as against a total of 81. The alliance’s biggest partner JMM bagged 34 seats, while the Congress party and the Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) received 16 and 4 seats, respectively. The CPI (Marxist–Leninist) has won two seats.
On the other side, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) got way below the halfway mark (41 Assembly seats) in the assembly elections bagging 24 seats. Out of this, the BJP alone won 21 seats, while the allies All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSUP), the Janata Dal (United) (JDU) and the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) (LJPRV) secured one seat each.
Counting of votes began at 8 AM. The results decided the electoral fate of a total of 1,211 candidates.

The Jharkhand assembly elections were held in two phases – November 13 and 20. A total of 43 seats went to polls in the first round and 38 in the second.
