Mohammad Amir came down heavily on Ramiz Raja for asking Shan Masood awkward questions that sparked a controversy on social media.
Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir has criticised Ramiz Raja for poking ‘fun’ at Shan Masood. Pakistan came up with a spirited show and got the better of a Ben Stokes-led England in the three-match Test series. Ramiz interviewed Masood after the historic series triumph. Instead of praising the skipper, the Pakistan legend asked him some awkward questions that sparked a controversy on social media. Amir also went on a rant, questioning Ramiz’s intent in a video that surfaced on X (formerly Twitter). “You should celebrate the series win. There is a series-winning captain sitting next to you. You should have asked him about the win, next plans. But you are making fun of him,” he said.
During the post-match interview, Ramiz Raja was heard asking Shan Masood how he managed to lose six Tests in a row with Pakistan. “How did you achieve this?” he asked. Masood came up with a rather humble response and talked about how they were focused on winning the series for the country. “Ramiz bhai we needed this win, the nation needed this win and I’m happy for Pakistan,” the skipper said in the interview.
This is absolute disgusting behavior from Ramiz Raja.
What kind of questions he is asking? No shame at all.pic.twitter.com/9RPyxvXpXT
