In the upcoming episode of KBC 16, Big B will share a funny anecdote about his grandson Agastya Nanda.

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan continues to captivate his fans with his impactful hosting abilities on the quiz-based reality TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati. Except for the third season, Big B has hosted the show since its premiere in 2000. Ever since the premiere of the show’s 16th season in August, its host often shared some interesting personal anecdotes with the viewers.

In the upcoming episode of KBC 16, scheduled to air on October 18, Amitabh Bachchan will welcome Bhool Bhulaiyaa’s 3 co-stars, Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. In the Sawalon Ki Bhool Bhulaiya episode, the host will question the duo regarding their dietary restrictions owing to their profession. He then inquired Kartik and Vidya about the dish that they simply can’t resist.

The Kahaani actress talked about her love for “Dahi chawal” and said, “Whenever I crave comfort, I have dahi chawal.” She further talked about her love for street food and shared an anecdote. “I grew up in Chembur, where there used to be a vada pav stall near the post office. Sir, I’m salivating just thinking about it!” Big B then mentioned a place in Chembur known for its tasty gulab jamun and added that people down South enjoy dahi chawal. Vidya said, “Dahi bhaat is the remedy for everything.”

Meanwhile, Kartik opened up about his favourite Chinese stall in Mumbai and highlighted his love for street food. The actor shared that he has been visiting the stall since he started working in the film industry, and he would often visit it at 2 AM. Moreover, he also revealed that the menu of the Chinese stall also has a dish called ‘The Kartik Special’ named after him due to his frequent visits there. Big B chimed in and said, “There’s something special about eating on the roadside, and this place is near my house. I’ll visit it to try the ‘Kartik Special.’” Vidya then playfully added, “Sir, if you go there, they might change the name of the place!”

Furthermore, KBC’s host went on to share a hilarious anecdote about his grandson, Agastya Nanda. Big B, while narrating the incident, said that Agastya would often visit an Indian restaurant when he was studying in New York. The place had a dish named after Amitabh Bachchan. A sharp-witted Agastya asked the staff about the dish, and after having it, he said, “You know, he’s my grandfather.” While the staff initially did not believe him, they did once Agastya showed them his pictures with the legendary actor. Since then, he has received free meals for two years at the restaurant. Kartik hilariously quipped, “Sir, wherever I go to eat at Juhu, they continue to charge me full price!”

For those who don’t know, Agastya followed in the footsteps of his grandparents and made his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.
