Living up to its reputation, Bigg Boss 18 continues to bring drama and entertainment to television screens. In its second week now, the show recently saw an exciting nomination challenge that stirred the house. While the task clearly brought out the competitive sides of all the housemates, it began with Captain Arfeen Khan, who was given the power to directly nominate two contestants for elimination.

He chose Tajinder Singh Bagga and Muskan Bamne, following which the other contestants had to take part in the task. For every round, Bigg Boss asked the contestants to offer snacks to their housemates in order to board the train, and those who failed to get snacks were nominated for elimination. Overseen by the captain, the task saw a total of 10 contestants being nominated in the second week.

Besides Tajinder and Muskan, Rajat Dalal, Shrutika Arjun, Shilpa Shirodkar, Avinash Mishra, Chaahat Pandey, Karan Veer Mehra, Hema Sharma and Alice Kaushik have been nominated after the task.

The makers also announced the names of nominated contestants with a post on Instagram. “Aapka ek vote badal sakta hai aapke favourite contestant ki kismatAapka ek vote badal sakta hai aapke favourite contestant ki kismat! Ab janta karo decide, vote karke lo apne chahite contestant ki side. Voting lines close Oct 18th Friday 10 AM,” the caption read.

It is worth mentioning that the nominations come at a time when Avinash Mishra, who also joins the list, is said to have been already evicted. The latest promo video hints toward a mid-week elimination, suggesting that the actor might have faced Bigg Boss’ wrath after his clashes with the housemates.

It started with a heated argument between Avinash and Chum Darang, who accused the former of being unattentive toward others and talking pointlessly. The argument almost turned physical when the others had to intervene. Upon the housemates’ collective decision, Avinash was asked to leave the house. However, it is still unclear whether the actor has been evicted or sent to jail. Fans believe that he might soon return as a wildcard contestant.
