Bigg Boss 18 contestant Alice Kaushik talked about her parents’ sudden demise, which left her lonely.
Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 18 premiered on October 6, and 18 contestants made their way to the infamous house. Among them was Alice Kaushik, best known for her roles in Suryaputra Karna, Pandya Store and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. Upon her arrival, the actress expressed her determination to win the coveted trophy. Later, the show’s host revealed that Alice has been concealing a lot of pain behind her smile.
As the show’s makers played a video, the actress was seen talking about her difficult childhood. Alica mentioned that she was very close to her father. Her world turned upside down when she got the devastating news of his suicide. As the clip progressed, the Bigg Boss 18 contestant shared that she was still reeling from her father’s death when her mother, too, passed away due to heart attack.
Although Alice did not live with her mother as she got married to another person, she was at peace knowing that her mother was still there. In the clip, the actress broke down while recalling the emotional turmoil and mentioned that she felt lonely whenever she returned from her shoot, knowing that no one would be waiting for her to return home.
Further, the Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum actress shared with Salman Khan that her father passed away in 2016. She expressed her wish to get one last chance to talk to him to convey some unsaid feelings, sharing how so many things were left unfinished. Alice talked about her discomfort with being alone and further highlighted that she wanted to have a family inside the Bigg Boss house. Meanwhile, Salman reacted to her past, praising the actress’ resilience and highlighted that she has a very good probability of lifting the trophy of the show.
In other news, the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 18 are Chahat Pandey, Rajat Dalal, Nyrraa Banerjee, Hemlata Sharma, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga, Shrutika Raj Arjun, Muskan Bamne, Chum Darang, Karan Veer Mehra, Avinash Mishra, Alice Kaushik, Shehzada Dhami, Vivian Dsena, Eisha Singh, Shilpa Shirodkar, Gunaratna Sadavarte, Sara Arfeen Khan and Arfeen Khan.
The latest season of Bigg Boss is following a new theme, “Time ka Taandav,” where Bigg Boss will predict the future of the contestants. Alice Kaushik and Vivian Dsena were announced as the top two finalists of the show. This was revealed to the contestants as they entered the house.
