PM Narendra Modi attacked the opposition Congress in poll-bound Haryana and called it the “biggest anti-Dalit party of the country”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday attacked the opposition Congress as the “biggest anti-Dalit party” of the country and alleged it has vowed to end reservation and Haryana is their “test state”.
“The Congress has planned to end reservation… Haryana is their test state. But, no one can end reservation till Modi and BJP is there… They abuse me and (Haryana Chief Minister) Saini ji day and night…” he said at the public gathering at Palwal in the poll-bound state.
Modi said the Congress has polarised people in the name of the voters, and will end reservation for Dalits and backward classes. “They did the same in Karnataka (where the Congress is in power)… They snatched away their reservation and gave it to their vote bank by declaring universities and institutions as minorities,” he alleged.

Referring to the Hooda family, he attacked the opposition party for its alleged infighting in the state unit. He said the people of Haryana have observed the party’s “internal conflicts”.
“The people here are also seeing the conflict that is going on within the Congress in Haryana. The angriest with Congress are from the Dalit, backwards and deprived community. The Dalit community has also decided that they will not become a pawn to enhance the politics of the father and son (Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Deepender Singh Hooda),” he added.
The prime minister said Haryana has a track record to vote for the government in power at the Centre. He said the people of Haryana have decided to form the BJP government for the third time.
“The Congress thinks that its own vote bank is intact… Haryana has to promise that those who love their motherland, have to come together… hum ek hain aur ek hokar desh ke liye vote karenge (We are one and we will vote as one for the country),” he said.
He further alleged that the Congress was against the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and never fully implemented the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. He reprised the “urban naxal” accusation against the party, saying: “We will vote for the safety of our daughters, employment, good infrastructure, roads… the Congress only has a single agenda… ‘urban naxal’ agenda… that is why they attack our armed forces and says it will bring back Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir but has never said it will reclaim PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir).
