    Hurricane Helene Triggers Political Storm In US Ahead Of Elections, Trump Slams Biden-Harris


    Hurricane Helene has caused widespread destruction and damaged in southeastern states of the United States. At least 130 people have died because of storm, according to a CBS tally. In Buncombe County, which includes Asheville, 40 deaths were reported, the CBS report said. Over 95,000 Buncombe County homes and businesses had no power on Sept 30, according to utility tracker Find Energy. The hurricane also forced presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump to change their campaign plans. Trump visited hurricane-damaged Valdosta in Georgia and claimed that the governor had been unable to reach President Biden.
