Actor Govinda is currently admitted to the hospital after he accidentally shot himself in the leg with his personal revolver earlier today. The actor’s doctor who is treating him in the hospital shared an update on his health with the media. Dr Agarwal spoke to the media and assured fans that the actor is doing well.
Speaking to the media, Dr Agarwal revealed that the actor is doing well after receiving medical attention. He said that the actor received “around 8-10 stitches”. He added that the actor would most likely be discharged in the coming days. He continued, “I think a maximum couple of days, maybe do din mein (in two days).” The doctor also mentioned where the actor hurt himself. He added, “Jo ghutne hota hai usse do inch niche (Two inches below the knee).”

The actor was rushed to the Criti Care Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday after the injury. He was supposed to leave for the airport. Several family members were seen visiting the hospital to meet the actor at this critical time. Kashmera Shah was spotted by the paparazzi as she made her way to visit her uncle. Additionally, Govinda’s daughter – Tina Ahuja – was also spotted by the media as she visited the hospital in her car. She did not talk to the media about her father.
Govinda shared a statement with the media concerning his health earlier today. In an audio message, the actor said, “Namaskar, pranaam, main hoon Govinda, aap sab logon ke aashirwad aur maa-baap ka aashirwad, guru ki kripa ke wajah se goli lagi thi par woh nikaal di gayi hai. Main dhanyavad deta hoon yahan ke doctor ka, aadarniya doctor Agarwal ji ka aur aap sab logon ki prarthana jo hai, aap logon ka dhanyavad, pranaam.”
The accident took place at around 4:45 AM in the actor’s house.
