The Israeli military on September 24 said that it hit dozens of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon overnight in a new wave of airstrikes. “Overnight …the IAF (air force) struck dozens of Hezbollah targets in numerous areas in southern Lebanon,” the IDF stated. The overnight strikes came after Israel’s “widespread” strikes on Hezbollah during the day on September 23. Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah in southern Lebanon killed at least 492 people and injured over 1,645 more on September 23, Lebanese officials said. The Israel Defense Forces said it struck some 1,600 targets across Lebanon on Monday, including many homes that it said were used to store Hezbollah weapons.
