Four people were killed and dozens injured in a shooting incident outside a bar in the US state of Alabama late Saturday night. Police responded to reports of a major shooting in the Five Points South area in Birmingham around 11 pm Officers confirmed multiple people were shot.
Three victims died at the scene, while the fourth was pronounced dead at a hospital, ABC News reported. US authorities believe there were multiple shooters, but no arrests have been made. “BPD officers are on the scene of multiple people shot with possibly multiple casualties. Five Points South area. Public Information Division is en route and will be providing Media Partners with live updates,” the local police said in a post on social media platform X.
