Aryaman Birla, with a net worth of Rs 70,000 crore, significantly exceeds Tendulkar, Dhoni, and Kohli in wealth.

Aryaman Birla is now a successful businessman, but he initially embarked on his career as a cricketer.

Cricket, the most cherished sport in the country, is not just popular but also financially rewarding. The opulent lifestyles and wealth of cricketers frequently spark discussions, with names like Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Virat Kohli often leading the conversation about the richest players. However, there is a cricketer who surpasses them all in terms of net worth.

Aryaman Birla, with a net worth of Rs 70,000 crore, significantly exceeds Tendulkar, Dhoni, and Kohli in wealth. Aryaman is the son of Kumar Mangalam Birla, a prominent billionaire industrialist and head of the renowned Birla Group, one of the oldest and most influential industrial houses.

Although Aryaman is now a successful businessman, he initially embarked on his career as a cricketer. He made his debut in the 2017-18 season with the Madhya Pradesh Ranji Trophy team. In the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL) season, he was acquired by the Rajasthan Royals, who bid Rs 30 lakh for him.

According to ESPN Cricinfo, Aryaman played 9 first-class matches, accumulating 414 runs including a century and a half-century. In List A cricket, he scored 36 runs across four matches. Despite a promising start, Aryaman took a break from cricket in 2019 for personal reasons. Although he was part of the Rajasthan Royals for two IPL seasons, he did not appear in any matches and was released by the franchise before the subsequent auction.

Born on 9 July 1997, Aryaman shifted his focus to the family business. He, along with his sister Ananya Birla, has been appointed as directors at Grasim Industries, the flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group. Aryaman also owns an exclusive club named ‘Jolly’ in Mumbai and runs ‘The Pawstar Company,’ a specialty pet store.

    Sachin Tendulkar

Even a decade after retiring from all formats of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar remains the second richest cricketer globally. Known as the ‘God of Cricket’ and ‘Master Blaster,’ Tendulkar’s illustrious career spanned nearly 25 years and set numerous records. He is the highest run-scorer in all formats of the game and the only player to achieve 100 international centuries. His legendary status and extraordinary achievements have contributed to his substantial net worth, which is estimated at Rs 1,250 crore (approximately £12.5 million).

    Mahendra Singh Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni, often dubbed ‘Captain Cool,’ is renowned for his exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. Under Dhoni’s captaincy, India triumphed in all major ICC tournaments: the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, and the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. In addition to his captaincy, Dhoni has made significant contributions as a wicketkeeper-batter. His wealth is estimated at Rs 923 crore (about £9.23 million).

    Virat Kohli

Former cricket team captain Virat Kohli is celebrated as one of the greatest batsmen of his generation. Known for his aggressive play and exceptional fitness, Kohli has set numerous records, including becoming the fastest player to reach 8,000, 9,000, 10,000, and 11,000 runs in ODIs. He has also been a standout performer in the IPL as captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Kohli, the most-followed Indian celebrity on Instagram with over 178 million followers, has a total wealth of Rs 781 crore (approximately £7.81 million).
