Nicole Kidman attended the red carpet for Babygirl at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on August 30, 2024 in Venice, Italy
At the screening of her film, Babygirl, Nicole Kidman casts a spell in an eye-catching silhouette from Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection.
Actor Nicole Kidman looked stunning as casts a spell on the red carpet unfurled for her film, Babygirl at the 81st Venice International Film Festival 2024.
Nicole, who stars in the erotic thriller movie, directed by Halina Reijn, looked glamorous in a haute couture ensemble from Schiaparelli by Daniel Roseberry’s Fall/Winter 2024/25 collection. The look featured a corset bustier in nude organza with an impossible V neckline. The corset was entirely embroidered with black contrasted dusting-effect sequins slowly graduating into black fringes. She finished the look with a long black velvet skirt.
The piece of art was hugely celebrated among others at Schiaparelli’s runway showcase at Paris Haute Couture 2024. The collection The Phoenix envisioned by Daniel, was a tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli, who was known to blur the lines between fashion and art and life and art.
According to Daniel note shared on the brand’s website, the context of this collection, which honours Elsa’s singular gift for rebirth, is second only to its form. Each piece is clear in its silhouette and its technique: you can see every look’s origins, how each moved from sketch to study to fabric. Each gown, each bustier, each shoe, every piece of folded velvet feather, or triple organza spike, seeks to catch the eye and hold it.
And just like Daniel’s vision for the collection, Nicole celebrated the opulent piece of art on the prestigious red carpet with confidence and grace. Styled by Jason Bolden, who is known for this impeccable sense of style, celebrated Nicole’s captivating persona and beauty in this one of a kind couture piece. Her long golden blonde hair was styled by Adir Abergel.
Ahead of her red carpet moment, Nicole was spotted in a pre fall 2024 Bottega Veneta black dress. Directed by Halina Reijn, the cast including Harris Dickinson, Antonio Banderas, and Sophie Wilde were also present on the red carpet looking stylish in their respective ensembles. Sophie Wilde looked stunning in black strapless fitted gown with a long train. She accessorised with sheer fascinator which was styled across her face, adding a hint of drama to her red carpet look.
The 81st Venice International Film Festival will be held till September 7, 2024 in Venice, Italy.
