Throwback to when Nicole Kidman turned a lot of heads on the red carpet, as  she made a stunning entry as ever at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. She was also the recipient of the prestigious award. The Oscar-winning actor stepped out at the annual event with her husband Keith Urban and their daughters, looking every inch like a Hollywood diva in a glamorous custom Balenciaga outfit from the Fall ’24 collection.

She wore a fitted gown, embroidered perfectly with gold sequins, along with a long train. She further teamed her look with Balenciaga’s black pumps. Talking more about her look, Kidman had her long blonde hair styled in a side part with loose waves framing her face. Going for an elegant look, she completed it with smokey eyes, rose blush and soft pink lips. Apart from that, Omega’s custom 26 mm De Ville Mini Trésor watch in the shade of Moonshine Gold was enough to make her stand out.

Before stepping out on the red carpet, the Aquaman star indulged in a stunning photo shoot in what seems to be a backyard setting, posing beautifully amid well-tended grass with a swimming pool, shrubbery and trees in the background. The actress’ dazzling gold gown looked breathtaking, catching the sunlight at the right time. The dress cascaded smoothly past Kidman’s feet, forming a long train.

The actress’ love for shimmer has always remained evident at award functions. Earlier at the Met Gala 2023, Nicole looked amazing in a Chanel Haute Couture sleeveless gown with over-the-top feathered detailing.

Prior to that, she slipped into another glittering gown in the shade of metallic bronze colour at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The gorgeous piece featured sequin work all over the body in gold and bronze.

Known for her work in films like Aquaman, Just Go With It and Batman Forever, Nicole Kidman was honoured with the AFI Life Achievement Award last weekend. She shared a post to express her gratitude on Instagram and wrote, “Deeply moved by all of the support around the world that I’ve been seeing and hearing.”

While this comes just as another feather in her cap, the actress has also bagged several other accolades, including the Academy, BAFTA, Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and Screen Actor Guild Awards.
