Donald Trump reposted a post which had an image of Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton with a crude sexual remark.

Donald Trump, former US president, reposted a post on his Truth Social platform which suggested his rival and US vice president Kamala Harris traded sexual favours to boost her career. Trump amplified the post by resharing it and further amplifying the crude remark.

The original post was made by a user on Truth Social. The post had an image of Harris and former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton, a former first lady herself.

The text accompanying the post read: “Funny how blowjobs impacted both their careers differently”.

The remark alluded to former President Bill Clinton, Hillary’s husband, and the Monica Lewinsky scandal, as well as American right-wing’s claims that Kamala Harris’s romantic relationship with Willie Brown, the former San Francisco mayor she dated in the mid-1990s while he was the speaker of the California State Assembly, which according to them contributed to her political ascent.

A report by the New York Times said that Trump has reshared denigrating content made by other creators on Truth Social attacking Kamala Harris.

It mentions that in August 18 Trump shared a video from the Dilley Meme Team—a group of right-wing internet content creators known for making pro-Trump videos and memes that target his opponents – which parodied Alanis Morissette’s song “Ironic,” mocking Ms. Harris as “moronic.” In the parody, the singer claims Ms. Harris “spent her whole damn life down on her knees”, a reference to oral sex.

In 2023, Trump was found liable for sexual assault in a case that ended in a jury awarding tens of millions of dollars to writer E. Jean Carroll after Trump was found liable for defaming and sexually abusing her.

This past May, he was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush money payments to a porn star on the eve of the 2016 election. He has owned casinos and been married three times.
