This year the auspicious occasion will begin on September 7 and end on September 17.
SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON AUGUST 31
The sun will rise at 5:59 AM and set at 6:43 PM. The moon is scheduled to rise at 4:08 AM on September 1 and set at 5:25 PM on the same day.
TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR AUGUST 31
The Trayodashi Tithi is anticipated to last until 3:40 AM on September 1, after which it will change to the Chaturdashi Tithi. The Pushya Nakshatra will stay in effect until 7:39 PM and then the Ashlesha Nakshatra will take its place.
