At the opening ceremony of the 81st Venice Film Festival, Amy Jackson looked stunning in Italian designer Alberta Ferretti’s tulle bustier gown embellished with crystals.
Actor Amy Jackson made her first public appearance post her big fat wedding in Italy and she definitely made it in style. Married to actor Ed Westwick, Amy arrived at the opening ceremony of the 81st Venice Film Festival 2024 in a surreal Alberta Ferretti gown.
Amy graced the red carpet for the movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice stars Jenna Ortega, Winona Ryder, and Michael Keaton, among others. Amy looked ethereal in Italian fashion designer Alberta Ferretti’s gown from her Fall Winter 2024 collection, which she showcased at Milan Fashion Week 2024.
The off shoulder tulle bustier gown was embroidered with a cascade of degrade crystals and resemble the dark sky filled with sparkling stars. Fitting Amy like a glove, this red carpet worthy gown did win hearts at the film festival. Adding drama to her overal look was the old-world Hollywood charm hairstyle styled by Patrick Wilson.
Amy accessorised with diamond jewellery featuring a necklace and bracelete. The highlight of the look was the wedding ring she wore on her left finger. Thus adding some more sparkle to her timeless and elegant look.
Ahead of her red carpet appearance, Amy arrived at the festival looking chic in another Alberta Ferretti ensemble. The statement piece, which was from the designer’s Resort 2025 collection, featured a nude shade double-breasted jacket with shiny lapels. The long jacket was paired with either a ruffled skirt or dress. Amy completed this effortless yet stylish look with a pair of sunglasses and a knotted bag.
Amy’s strapless silk Mikado gown too was designed by Alberta Ferretti. Alberta beautifully captured Amy’s classic aesthetic with modern day fashion and sophistication.
The 81st Venice Film Festival, which began on August 28, 2024, with the screening of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, saw an array of celebrities grace the red carpet. Looking stylish in their ensembles were Cate Blanchett, Catherine O’Hara, Isabelle Huppert, Zhang Ziyi, Willem Dafoe, Monica Bellucci among others.
The film festival is on till September 7 and has an impressive lineup of films to look forward to. With films starring Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, we can’t wait to see them shine on the red carpet.
