Ukrainian forces operating in Russia’s Kursk Oblast have destroyed a second key bridge, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force said. Mykola Oleshchuk published a video showing a “precise” airstrike on the structure, saying “minus one more bridge!”. Meanwhile, Russia said its forces eliminated 16 Ukrainian military troops near the village of Kremyanoe in Russia’s Kursk Region on August 18. Kyiv repelled a Russian missile and drone attack on August 18, with authorities saying North Korean ballistic weapons were used in the strike. The attack on Russia’s Kursk region was reportedly launched to distract Moscow’s forces from other parts of the frontline, especially from Donbas.
