Parrish saw nearly 19 inches of rainfall from Debby. Many people say they’ve never seen flooding to that degree. One day after the storm, some still want to know what they’re returning home to and are assessing their damage. Others say the Lake Manatee Dam is to blame for the heavy flooding. The county, however, says the dam did exactly what it was supposed to do.
