In her recent Instagram post, Divyanka Tripathi mentioned that their “money situation” has now been resolved.
Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have shared an update following their recent robbery incident in Italy. In an Instagram post, Divyanka thanked all her fans and followers for their unconditional support and love during this tough time. The couple revealed that their “money situation” has been resolved with help from a friend. Not only this, they are now in the process of obtaining an emergency certificate, which will enable them to travel back to India.
In her social media post, Divyanka wrote, “Dear all, thank you for your immense love and support. It truly means a lot! After losing so much, thankfully, the much-needed love is not lost! Giving our loved ones and the concerned people an update as we are unable to reply to everyone personally.”
She continued, “Currently, our money situation is kind of sorted as we have got some help from a good friend. We have replaced the rented car, as it was insured. We will be heading towards the embassy in another city today to get the emergency certificate sorted. Also, we have not lost everything as reported. We have a few things left that were in the boot of the car. Also, left with our spirits intact! No one can snatch that away.”
Earlier, Divyanka informed her fans that she had reached out to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and requested her to improve the safety of tourists. In her Instagram post, Divyanka expressed her concern after experiencing a robbery while touring Italy. She further mentioned that she reported the incident to the local police but was disappointed with their casual approach. She also emphasised the need for Italy to take responsibility for tourist safety, highlighting that it affects not just them but all tourists who invest their money to visit the country.
Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya were robbed in Florence, Italy on July 11. The couple had their vehicle broken into at a resort’s secure parking lot. They have lost their passports, cash, cards and other valuable items in the robbery.
