Palmetto Electric and Dominion Energy are seeing thousands of outages across Beaufort County.
Thousands of power outages have been reported in the Lowcountry due to Tropical Storm Debby.As of 9 p.m. Monday, Palmetto Electric was reporting more than 5,000 outages on Hilton Head Island alone.Dominion Energy is reporting several thousand more, including nearly 900 outages on Daufuskie Island, more than 1,300 in the area of Callawassie Island and several hundred more in northern Beaufort County.This is a developing story.
